Padrão Davos klosters - resumo

Holiday Paradise
The contrast between urban Davos and quieter Klosters, which has retained its village character, is unique and could hardly be greater. But the resorts have two assets in common: a fascinating natural mountain world and a diversity of sporting, leisure and cultural attractions that has to be seen to be believed. You can arrange your holiday to be as eventful or relaxing as you choose. Because here you are in the heart of the action. And here you can also enjoy peace and tranquillity.

With its 5 mountains featuring 300 km of slopes divided in 85 descents, Davos Klosters Mountains lists amongst the biggest snowsport regions of the alps. And the best part is: there is something for all winter sport enthusiasts: Carver, Freerider, Snowboarders and even for all those who like to take it easy.

Jakobshorn - the Dream of Leaping to the Sky.
On Jakobshorn - the snowboarders‘ dream-mountain - a halfpipe and a fun-park
challenge you to daring leaps. Celebrate your successful performance in „native“
mountain huts at the foot of Jakobshorn - the deck-chairs are ready for chilling-out.
The Freestyle World Cup and the Davos Youth Snow Sports Day is held on Bolgen
- only two of the events that are offered to young sport fans throughout winter.

Madrisa - the Dream of Games in Snow.
Madrisa is a beautiful sun deck with a view of the Prättigau - the dream mountain for
families. The Kidsland near the summit station is well equipped and keeps the kids
happy. The little ones can familiarise themselves in a playful manner with ski sports
or let off steam on the Tubing Run and in the Bouncy-Castle.

Parsenn Davos Klosters - the Dream of Crackling Skis on Fresh Snow.
Parsenn, the largest of the five skiing regions, offers numerous different ski runs that
promise not to bore you. Let the air-stream tickle your ears on never ending down
hills, or, if you really want to know more - time your individual tempo on the speedrun.
Thirteen mountain restaurants invite you to relax on the sun decks, enjoy the
panoramic view and let yourself be pampered.

Pischa - the Dream of Sparkling White Snow.
Pischa is one of Switzerland‘s largest and sunniest freeride-regions. Marked runs,
protected against alpine dangers, open up a fantastic deep snow paradise for you.
Prepared runs for families are open just next to the Kidsland by the summit station.
And those seeking tranquillity can explore Pischa‘s marked tracks on snow shoes.

Rinerhorn - the Dream of Cosy Winter Pleasures.
Rinerhorn excites with diversity. Apart from different ski pistes, there is a 3.5 km
sledge run, also open on two evenings a week for romantics. A beautiful winter
hiking trail leads strollers from the summit station to the valley. Sun-seekers enjoy
the panoramic view from sun benches near the summit station.

The Snowsports Areas
Are you a summit stormer? Then the day on our magic mountains is certain to be far too short for you! Here you're simply spoilt for choice with six great snowsport regions:Jakobshorn, Parsenn/Gotschna and family-friendly Pischa, Madrisa and Rinerhorn. And also on Schatzalp/Strela the lifts will be open again in Winter 2009/10!

In other words, you can take your pick of over 318 km of pistes with guaranteed snow and 61 mountain transport facilities.

Mountain Railways
Jakobshorn
Snowboarders in particular are in their pristine element on Jakobshorn! Snowboarders and freeskiers will have the time of their lives in the half pipes and fun park. And it's not only all systems go on the many pistes and installations: there's plenty of off-piste fun on tap in the ski huts. The range of national and international sporting events on Jakobshorn is quite simply colossal.Jakobshorn is the event mountain par excellence!

Jakobshorn

Parsenn / Gotschna
The Parsenn/Gotschna ski region is on the opposite side of the valley. This is the largest of the snowsport regions and easy to reach from either Davos and Klosters, with pistes to suit all levels of skiing skill.
The longest downhill run is on Parsenn, from the top of the Weissfluh to Küblis (12 km). Night-time skiing is on the programme every Saturday.

Parsenn / Gotschna

Pischa, Madrisa & Rinerhorn
The family-friendly mountains of Pischa, Madrisa and Rinerhorn are fabulous for families keen on skiing. Various "children's paradise" facilities offer our tiny guests great fun and games.
Pischa is a freeride region. Three runs will be marked and protected from Alpine risks but remain unprepared.

Now found all over the world and often copied, in its hometown the famous «Davoser» has evolved into a natural track sledge.
